New Support Groups
Two new suppot groups will start in September, 2014. The second Thursday of every month at 7 pm, Love Connection will provide a safe space for families to share their experience, strength, and hope as they cope with the shock and expense of having a loved one incarcerated. Facilitated by Dr. Liliana Da Valle, this ministry is a partnership with Corrections Institutions Chaplaincy (CIC). Parents, grandparents, siblings, spouses, and friends of incarcerated young adults who feel the need for support and understanding.
The third Thursday of every month at 7 pm, Love Connection in Spanish will offer an opportunity to share experiences and process feelings in a confidential and nurturing environment. This group is for anybody who speaks Spanish and has a loved one in jail. This ministry will also be facilitated by Dr. Da Valle. Both groups will meet at our Community room, 424 N 9th Street, San Jose.
